Maverick FBI agent, Johnny Utah (Keanu Reeves), is sent undercover to infiltrate a group of surfers who are suspected of being the ‘ex-presidents’ – a notorious gang of bank robbers. Whilst working on the case, Utah is drawn into a new lifestyle and friendship with charismatic adrenaline junkie Bodhi (Patrick Swayze).
